It's been a long time!!

Sorry it has been so long. We have had a lot of fun finishing our summer in St. Simons, 4th of July at the lake with my dad's side of the family, painting bedrooms and the kitchen, Braves Game with Richard and Katherine, going to see Legally Blonde with Gwen, and getting ready for school to start. Andy is going to be really happy when school starts next week since he claims I spend more money in the summer. I have no idea what he is talking about :). Here are some pictures of our summer adventures as well as the progress of our kitchen backsplash.

It was a great show...hopefully some of these pics will give you an idea! We had a great time even though Andy could not find a turkey leg. Ms. Louise made fried chicken and we had a great evening celebrating!

So here are some pictures I took today...I am wondering how they are going...so please drop some advice!!

Today was the first day I played with my camera. Above are just some of the shots I got...hopefully they will improve!! With my nephews, I have a great advantage...when they are this cute, it is hard to get a bad picture. If you have any comments or suggestions on improving my photo skills, please let me know.

So this "blogging" is a new thing for me so bear with me as I try to share our lives through photos and words. My wonderful hubby purchased a new camera for me so I hope the pictures will get better as time goes by :). Andy and I started the Starcher household on July 26th, 2008. It is hard to believe that we have been married almost a year now but the Lord continues to bless us on a daily basis!
